  • Synthetic documents: By utilizing features from QSDV, your enterprise search solution can now index structured data from enterprise and cloud applications, and create synthetic data objects that are injected into enterprise search indexes. Users receive relevance-ranked search results integrating structured data, unstructured data and documents. Search queries provide a 360-degree view of each customer, PO, part number, or any other record that is easily understood by users.
  • Near real-time indexing: QSDV technology monitors applications in real time to capture updated data and meta-data for injection into the search index. This makes it an ideal front-end for employees to access data from all of their critical applications, as opposed to opening multiple application interfaces and running multiple queries.
  • Dynamic discovery: Dynamically discover application data and meta-data, such as business entities and relational links, users, roles, and permissions for inclusion in the search index, reducing the need for custom development and taxonomy catalogues.
  • Web-based data browsing: Once a user receives authorized search results incorporating structured and unstructured data, a navigation link to view the data within the original application or within a flexible web data-browsing interface is provided.
  • Custom "actions" can be enabled directly from the search results interface, such as creating a new support database entry, or opening a new purchase order.

The universal search results from a variety of sources can be accessed either from the cloud (i.e. from salesforce.com) or on-premises applications (i.e. SAP), creating a single interface for all enterprise data sources.
